First set of Uniform

I swing by Serangoon Central - Shirley Season Wear to check out the prices for school uniforms.

I could not resist getting one set for BB!. The lady has suggested that I wait and bring BB1 to try in person but I just had to get 1 set after seeing it.

Here's what I got and the price

Pinafore with Belt - $12.30
Blouse - $6.50
Size 26 (Perfect)

She looks great and I teared a little when I saw her in it. My little girl has grown up!

CC - Update II

Subject: CC - Update II

Again no crying today and she was smiling when she waved bye bye. Hooray!

And starting today, we extended her hours to let her nap in school.

When i call at 10:30am, I was told that Aunty May (She is the cleaning auntie who also helps out at the baby class) was carrying her (Bao Bao!) and that she cried on and off. I reminded the school to give her her bolster so she can nap

I called again at 2:15pm and Tr Pei Fang told me that she finished a bowl of food (fed by Aunty May). During milk time, Aunty May helped her to hold her milk bottle and coax her to drink and during nap time, Aunty May pat pat her to sleep! Gosh! I was so surprised when I heard as she is such an independent baby at home!

I was also told that she is very sticky to Aunty May and Tr Florence.

I am hoping it gets better tomorrow *Keeping my fingers cross*

No Crying!

Its amazing how she suddenly just stopped crying this morning.

She was still a little reluctant to go to school this morning. When we reach the center, she quietly came down from daddy's arms and went to sit at the little chair to get her temp check. She then went to the toilet with Jie Jie to wash her hands and when she came out, she gave me a big hug and said bye bye to me!

No screaming, no crying and no struggling! Simply Amazing!

Tricia is 2 years 3 months, 1 week and 5 days old

Tricia started her first day at child care today!

It all went well and she was excited to go to school with Jie Jie in the morning. When we arrived at the centre, she was so excited that she went in without giving me a 2nd glance. I left her there and went for breakfast and when I came back, I heard her crying.

Apparently she started crying when it was time to go to class. Her teacher said that she cried till she was all sweaty.

It looks like a tough journey ahead and we will be expecting more crying over the next few days!
*sigh*

CNY Day 4 - Back to School

Subject: CNY Day 4 - Back to School for BB2
Date: 13 February 2013 (Wednesday)

Today is day 4 of CNY today and it is back to school for BB2!

I took an extra day off from work and ended up bringing Racia to Dr Koh as she was coughing persistently through the CNY holidays. She was given antibiotics and cough mixture. I hope she recovers soon.

We reached home just in time to bring Tricia to school! BB1 was excited that she could bring her sister to school! As expected, Tricia cried again when it was time to go into the classroom!

Tricia's 3rd day at School

Subject: Tricia's 3rd day at Star Tots Playgroup
Tricia is 1 year, 7 months, 2 weeks old today

Its Tricia's 3rd day at Star Tots Playgroup today!

And today is also the last day that they allow parents to accompany! BB2 is doing well, she was super cheerful in the morning when I told her that we are going to school. She was so excited that she even walked by herself to the door eagerly to go out. She was smiling all the way to the school and we even stop to look at cats and birds on the way there!

She did well, walked into the classroom by herself, gave Tr J a hug and let Tr J take her temperature and check her hands. Similar to the alst 2 days, her temperate is always high (42 degrees) during the check (I wonder if Tr J's thermometer is faulty!) She even walked in and sat by herself to play the toys and participate in the class' activity. When it was water break time, she could even go to get her water bottle by herself and drink and put the bottle back on the chair. Tr J gave out stickers to the children today and she walked up by herself to request for one! I am so glad that she is participating so well!

Only towards the last 10 minutes that she started to fuss. She whined a little and wanted me to carry her.I sat away and let the teachers handled her. She even attempted to take her bag telling me that she wants to go home already. (Super cute right!). Tr J was great, she started to distract her with new activities!

I hope that she will transit smoothly next week as parents are no longer allowed into the classroom.
And I hope now that she is familiar with the school, she will not cry so much too.
