Temperature: 20 degrees

It's our last day in Hong Kong today!

We are flying back tonight at 8pm and we will need to get to the airport by 5pm. We woke up late this morning, and again, I went to the Australian Diary Company to pack breakfast! I wanted to have the scramble eggs one last time before we leave Hong Kong.

We are taking it nice and easy today. We will check out and stroll towards Harbour City. Silvercord will be one of our destination as I wanted to take a look at the H&M outlet there while hubby is keen to go have dim sum at one of the restaurant we went during our last trip.

The girls were still sleep when I return with breakfast. We never utilize any of our breakfast coupon during our stay! BB2 woke up first and asked to take a dip in the bath tub. She was so happy when she went into the water! Soon, BB1 woke too and asked to join in. The girls swam in the tiny tub for close to an hour while hubby packed our luggage outside.

We dressed up, packed and got ready to check out at 11am. After leaving our luggage at the concierge, we headed towards TST! We walked past the famous Gai Zai Dan stall but it was still close. :( Perhaps I can try again when we are coming back.

At Silvercord, Hb took care of the BB2 while i brought BB1 to H&M. It was a quick walk around and I did not buy anything for myself. I only picked up Racia's Rapunzel hair tie and a T-shirt.

After H&M, we went to hunt down for the cheap dim sum place we went the last time. But as the place was recently renovated, I think we went to the wrong restaurant.
Anyway, Dim Sum was good and the girls had a great time looking at the live fishes swimming in the tank. As usual, I over ordered and when they served the glutinous rice, we were too full to eat them. Hb asked me to leave the food but i insisted on taking it away (Which was a wise choice and I will share later).
We back to the hotel after luunch. And on the way back, we passed a Hui Liu Shan outlet and I bought my first cup of dessert since our arrival in Hong Kong. We passed by the Gai Zai Dan stall and found that it was open and super crowded, i queued and waited close to 15 minutes for the treat! It was really yummy and Hb ended up eating most of it. We had a quick tour of Prudential Tower (Hello Kitty shops) as well as Mirama Hotel for Uniqlo. Uniqlo in HK is really much cheaper. BB2 napped while we shopped.

As soon as we reached the hotel, I realised that BB2's diaper had leaked and she has wet her pants. Hb was activated to go buy new pants for her at Bossini (across the street). I waited with the girls at the hotel lobby for him.
When he came back, I changed BB2 and we set off for the airport.
We had arranged for the hotel to send a taxi to pick us up 4:30pm. It was a fairly short ride and we reached the airport at a 5:15pm. The taxi fare cost HK270 (Meter show HK190, so HK80 were the extra charges!)
We checked in our luggage and went to Fairwood for dinner. It was a simple dinner of bee hoon soup and roast meat rice. Half way through, I took out my glutinous rice (from the restaurant) and let BB1 try. She loves it and promptly finished the 2 rolls that I managed to packed. I fully agree with her that it was delicious!

We moved into the restricted area after that. The girls had fun running around the big empty space just next to our boarding gate no. 17. Hb went to pick up the Weng Wah biscuit goodies while we waited at the gates.
We found a very interesting family toilet at the airport, it has two toilet bowl, one for adult and one for children, for parent and child to use together. What a great idea!

We boarded at 7pm (flight departs at 8pm) and had a bad experience on board this flight. They mistakenly passed Tricia's post weaning meal to another baby and Tricia ended up with no dinner. I was so mad. The stewardess who gave the meal out by mistake did not even apologise! The steward told me there was no other option except for an adults meal! I followed up with a complaint letter when we reached Singapore. This is really unacceptable for SIA!

Anyway, BB2 slept most of the flight (on daddy). Racia had fun watching all the children programme and having ice cream after her dinner! It was a smooth flight and we reach at 11:30pm. I found our that they have a special family queue for ppl with small children/baby. We cut through this queue got a taxi with no waiting time at all. Reached home at 12 midnight and by the time i tuck the girls to bed, it was close to 1pm!

It was an super enjoyable trip to for us and Racia has already started bugging me to bring her to Hong Kong next year!

Till our next Hong Kong trip (hopefully next Dec!)
