Hong Kong - Day 4 - Ocean Park

Subject: Hong Kong - Day 4 - Ocean Park + Central
Date: 21 December 2008 (Sunday)
Racia is 1 year, 9 months, 2 weeks and 3 days old today

Weather: Sunny and Warm
Temperature: approx 20 plus degrees

We went to Ocean Park today~!. Jean managed to helped us get discounted tickets from her ex-colleague who is from Hong Kong. All in all, we paid only HKD176 for each adult ticket. Racia gets in for free.

Waether was warm and sunny. We all met up at the KFC opposite our hotel for breakfast before setting off. By the time we reach Admiralty MTR to take the Ocean Park Bus, it was close to 11pm already.

First task at Ocean Park, get Ocean park caps for the kids.. imagine how adorable they will look with the caps. It was extremely sunny too so the caps came in useful <-- what a silly excuse to shop. Joshua picked a shark one and i picked a panda girl red visor for Racia. I think Joshua had fun at the park and on the rides. We took a leisure stroll around the park enjoying the scenery as well as the cable car ride to the main entrance of the park. Racia enjoyed the cable ride tremendously and she was not afraid at all. We headed straight for the panda enclosure ( the main purpose of me visiting the park). Racia finally had the chance to see real Panda bears. I think she really likes the panda bear and them being black and white, its so easy to spot them in the enclosure. They did a really good job, the enclosure looks new and clean but the panda bears were a little afraid of the crowds that gathered to look at them and they kept wanting to move into the inner rooms. We left the park at about 4:45pm and headed to central for dinner.

Shawn and Jean brought us to this cha chan ting - Tsui Wah in Central which is located opposite Yung Kee (the place famous for their roast goose). The food was delicious and inexpensive. after dinner, i got side tracked by this Laneige shop and bought some cosmetics and skin care products. We headed to the streets at Central where we picked up some girls clothes and then to H&M where i grabbed all the H&M Special edition Hello Kitty clothes in the largest sizes that i can find. (largest size is 18 to 24 months only) - see my photos posted.

Tomorrow, its shopping day for daddy and me at Mong Kok. Daddy for his toys and me for my Hello Kitty stuff.
