Racia says mei mei is a "New Potato" from Potato City. When she sees mei mei rolling on the bed, she calls her the rolly potato! This is the resulted of being cooped at hm and watching too much peppa pig!

Raica is 4 Years, 10 months, 2 weeks and 2 days old
Its three days to CNY and Racia is having Chicken Pox!
Truly unbelievable! and what a great timing as well.
It started with fever a week ago. Her fever came on and off the entire week. And we did not realised that she had the virus in her by then. And 3 day ago, we spotted a red spot on her nose, all of us though it was an allergy (which she gets frequently if she touches her face with dirty hands), it soon welled up and by yesterday, it became filled with fluid. Its was then which i suspect that it may be chicken pox.
We brought her to Dr Koh who confirms it. It seems like she may have gotten the virus up to 2 weeks ago. We now need to also monitor and see if Tricia gets it too.
All our CNY plans now have to be shelved and we will stay home this festive season!

Crawling and Sitting on her own

Subject: Milestone - Crawl and Sit
Tricia is 7 months 3 weeks and 3 days old
At 7 and a half months, Tricia can finally sit steadily on her own!
At 7 and a half months, Tricia can finally sit steadily on her own!
Since 3 weeks back, i realised that her milestones seemed to be reversed, she actually crawled first before she was able to sit.
Before today, whenever i tried to sit her up on her own, she topples within 1 min! And because of this, I didn;t dare to sit her on any hard grounds as she was still unsteady.
Today, i tried to sit her up again and she could sit on her own for a full 5 mins. I think the sitting training on the sofa helped in making her back muscle stronger.
As for her crawl, i found by accident that she could crawl about two weeks ago. She could even move to sitting position easily. She crawls really fast and frantically now and i have to keep an eagle eye watch of her on the bed to make sure she don;t fall off! She is like a determined climber scaling the Everest whenever she crawls on the bed!
Hooray Tricia and well done for meeting this two important milestone (crawling and sitting) before you turn 8 months!

Tricia Milestone - To Sitting Position

At 7 months 1 weeks 3 days old, Tricia can move from crawling position to sitting. What a great way to start 2012!

At 7 months 1 week, Tricia weighs a whopping 9kg when weighed at the doc's today. Hope this sudden bout of fever and flu won't cause her to loose too much weight.

Racia is 4 years 9 months 2 weeks and 1 day old
We did it!
Picked Racia up early from school today and brought her to get her ears pierced! Finally after such a long time, we did it today!
I had a hard time finding a shop that has 2 guns as was advised to do it at a place with 2 guns so that chances of her freaking out and refusing after the first hole was minimal.
She chose a sparkly pink stud and to my surprised, my brave girl didn't even cry at all when gun shot the stud through her ears! so brave!
Even the shop assistant was surprised that she did not cry at all. She told me it is not very painful, just a little pain.
We the piercing at 77th Street, AMK Hub and it cost us $12 with stainless steel studs! Definitely recommend as i find them very experience with piercing for young children. Thumbs up for the good service!
