Subject: Hong Kong - Day 3 - Nathan Road + Mong Kok

Racia is 1 year, 9 months, 2 weeks and 2 days old today

Temperature: 19 degrees

As we had a long day at Disneyland yesterday, Daddy decided to take a break today. So off we go shopping along Nathan Road!

Later this evening, we will also be meeting our friends, Shawn, Jean and Joshua for dinner at the peak.

We only woke up at 9am and by the time we were done with breakfast at MacDonald's (they serve a really delicious Ham Burger for breakfast), it was close to 10:30am already. We walked along Nathan road from our hotel towards Mong Kok's direction.

First stop, Bossini, there i picked up 2 shorts at HKD79 each (the weather was quite warm these two days and i did not pack any light weight clothes with me), a top(HKD79), a working jacket(HKD199).

Then it was to Giodano where i bought a really nice looking ladies belt (HKD150) and a pair of ladies tights.

We passed Mirama Hotel (where i spotted Uniqlo and an Agnes b boutique), most shops were not open as it was still quite early.

Next stop, Prudential Hotel, Hubby bought 3 authentic Lecoq t-shirt at very good sale prices (approx HKD160 each). By this time, Racia was fussing already and she soon fell asleep while we waited for daddy. Hubby took over and i managed to buy a pair of shoes from the many shoes shop located at the hotel. I ended with only 1 pair because the designs that i like no longer come in my size. :(

We took the train from Jordan MTR to Mong Kok and stopped at one of the Cha Chan Ting along the way for a late lunch. We ordered the daily lunch special - stir fry pork and onion with rice and Shrimp with egg and rice. Each set comes with a bowl of daily soup. The soup was delicious and so was the rice and milk tea. Lunch cost us about HKD70.

After lunch we headed to CTMA building and trendy mall where hubby picked up 2 more tshirts and i bought a authentic Sanrio Hello Kitty dial watch at HKD165 for Racia. We then moved to Fa Yuen Street (the stretch selling sports wear and shoes) and then we headed back to the hotel when it was close to about 5pm.

After a quick bath, we head to the star ferry terminal for the boat to central and bus no.15(bus stop located outside pier 5) to go up to the peak. We met Shawn, Jean and Joshua at the bus stop. It was freezing cold at the peak and we proceeded to Bubba Gump for a shrimp dinner(we were too busy eating so there was no photos). We were given a really fantastic table by the full glass window. Racia also started eating fries today. I think she properly saw Joshua eating them and wanted them too. The view was breathtaking but it was really too cold for a picture. we headed straight down after a quick tour of the peak after dinner. By the time we reach the hotel, it was 11pm already. Racia was so tired that fell asleep by herself while playing with her dog on the bed.

Tomorrow, we are all going to Ocean Park!.
