Racia is 1 year, 9 months, 3 weeks and 2 days old today

Mummy is starting to miss Hong Kong's food especially the Milk Tea. And since we need to pick up some pressies at Toys R Us for a gathering tomorrow, we decided to try Kim Gary Hong Kong Restaurant at Vivo!

The food was delicious and the milk tea was almost close to the ones we had in Hong Kong.

We ordered a serving of the special fires in met sauce, Hot stone unagi rice set as well as the special cheesey curry bake combo. We had an ice milk tea each and Racia wanted the milk tea as well and we had to order a ice milo for her instead. I think Racia likes cold beverages!

However, Mummy's tummy seems to disagree with the food. Immediately after our dinner, i began to feel a really terrible headache. Soon i was going to the toilet to throw up. I threw up a total of 5 times that evening/night.

I think I night have been allergic to one of the ingredient added into the food. Daddy joked that mummy's body must have rejected Hong kong food because we are now in Singapore!

No more Kim Gary for me in the near future!

Subject: Hong Kong - Day 8 - Last Day in Hong Kong
Date: 25 December 2008 (Thursday)
Racia is 1 year, 9 months, 3 weeks old today

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Its our last day in Hong Kong today and we are taking it slow. We managed to pack most of our luggage last night.

We planned to take Racia on a ride on the Star Ferry this morning as she really enjoyed our last ride taken when its dark. And today, she will be taking it in the day!

We headed to the ferry terminal after a slow breakfast at the cha chan ting next to the hotel. Due to time constrain, we planned for a round trip to central and back to TST. We stopped for only 10 minutes at the Central Pier - for some pictures before we headed back again. It was back to the hotek after that for a quick nap before we checked out at 1:30pm ( I requested for late check out).

We went to the bus stop opposite (along Nathan Road) for the Bus A21 to the Airport.

The staff at the Singapore Airlines counter wasreally friendly and he allowed us to check in our luggages early for our evening flight.
We went for lunch after that and I had the most delicious pork chop bun ( I am crazy over this bun) at the Chinese fast food outlet in the public area of the airport. Racia had chinese soup and rice and daddy had the char siew rice.

Racia had fun running around the airport while we waited for our flight.

Our flight departs at 6:30pm and when it was time we board, the staff were really nice to pull us out of the queue for priorty boarding with children. We were very lucky that the 3rd seat was not taken as such, we had the row of 3 seats all to ourselevs for the entire flight back. Racia even managed to sleep for about 1 hour plus in the bassinet while we ate our special chistmas turkey dinner in peace.

By the time we landed in Singapore Terminal 3, it was close to 10pm and by the time we reached home, it was 11 plus already - way past Racia's bedtime!

Overall, Racia behaved quite well for this trip(except when she is sleepy and cranky and kept asking to be latched!). I am actually looking forward to planning a next holiday with her again soon. Maybe Taiwan next time round?
