RWS Halloween Weekend Staycation 2013 - Day 1

Tricia is 1 Year 5 Months, 1 Week and 1 Day old
Racia is 5 Years, 7 Months, 3 Weeks and 1 Day old

We spent this long Halloween weekend at RWS Sentosa!

It was a first for us staying at RWQS and a first "overseas" trip Tricia!
As for Racia, this is our 3rd over night trip to Sentosa (First was in September 2008 to Shangri-la Rasa Sentosa and 2nd was in April 2009 to the Siloso Beach Resort ).

This was a GROUPON deal that I had purchased back in September at SGD 538. I thought it was a really
great deal. This package comes with the following
- 2 nights at a RWS hotel (Festive, Hard Rock or Hotel Michael)
- 2 Day pass to USS
- 2 passes to the Maritime Experiential Museum
- 2 passes to the Maritime Experiential Show

I was disappointed that I didn;t manage to book Festive hotel or Hard Rock Hotel. Nonetheless,
we had a really good expereience at Hotel Michael. The only down side is that the hotel do
not have bathtubs (The girls love bathtubs)!

We checked in at close to 4pm, this was because we were still busy packing at 2pm!
And when we were finally ready to leave for Sentosa, I realised that I needed to pick up some essential toiletries. We made a quick stop at Heartland mall, Kovan where I picked up my stuff as well as some KFC lunch.

It was close to 4:30pm when we finally checked into our room. Room 802 (first room next to the lift lobby).
As soon as we stepped in, Racia complained that the room was small! (She is such a pampered princess!).
I had requested for a baby cot but at around 6pm, the front desk called and told me that no cots were
available. And as a replacement, they offered me a 3rd single bed FOC instead. What a great
service!

We decided to head down to pool straight and the girls had a great time swimming. Tricia is such a water baby and she screamed in protest when we lifted her out of the pool.
After a quick shower, we went for dinner. As it was Halloween weekend, we saw many people queuing to enter USS. We settled on Ding Tai Feng and Daddy queued while I brought the two girls to Watson to buy my concealer (I had forgotten to pack them in my bag). On the way back, we stopped by USS and I bought the girls their blinking devils horn headband (priced at$5 each).

Daddy was already seated when we came back 15 mins later. The food was great and Racia finished
close to 1.5 bowls of noodles!

We headed up to the hotel close to 9pm and the girls refused to go to sleep till 11pm!

This ended our great first day at RWS! Its USS fun tomorrow! Stay tune!
