Subject: Racia had a Bad Fall today

Racia had a very bad fall today!
It was suppose to be Racia's belated Birthday celebration today but she ended with a really bad fall that caused a very deep cut on her lips.
We had our day planned, started the morning with Gogobamni. She had a super fun 2 hours playing in the maze with daddy. She even asked for lunch when it was 11am. Since its her belated birthday celebration, she get to eat the food she loves...we ordered nuggets and fries for her.
After lunch, we headed over to Vivo city to get Racia her birthday present - a bicycle/tricycle.
We scouted Toys R Us and saw one tricycle which was quite good but I wanted to go to the Motherhood store at Harbourfront where I had spotted a small tricycle a month back which i thought would be perfect for Racia's petite size.
We headed there and we took down the display tricycles for her to try. Among the displays that i took down was a small buggy car for her to try. She got on it backwards and as she mounted the car, she held onto the back handle for support and it was then, the car tipped over and she fell head down with it. She fell flat on her face on the floor and lay really quiet there, I thought she would get up herself but the next moment, she let out this big cry and when daddy carried her up, blood started gushing from her mouth. I had a shocked!! She was crying in pain. We tried to stop the bleeding but she refused to let me touch her mouth. She seems to have sustained a cut on both her upper and lower lips. The cut was deeper and more serious on her upper lip and blood dripped on both daddy's top and my T-shirt!
She was bleeding so much that i was in shocked. Our first thought was to send her to the hospital but after calming down, i decided to give her some ice cream. We headed to Sushi Teh and i ordered a pumpkin ice cream for her. I think it was really pain and thus she refused all the food and drink and the ice cream. By this time, the bleeding had reduced tremendously but she still refused to let me wipe her mouth. By now, her lips has swelled up and they look like little puffed up sausages!
I think my poor baby will take at least a full week for to recover.
Lesson learned: We need to watch over her carefully at all time!
