My Dollie Baby

Date: 26 March 2012 (Monday)
Tricia is 10 months and 5 days old

Starting on Saturday, I have cut down one pump session in the afternoon. I used to pump at 6:30am, 11am, 4pm and 9:30pm. And now, its 6:30am, 1pm/2pm and 9pm.

With Tricia turning 10 months and solids, there is now a drop in her milk intake. I thought it is time I cut down my pump session at work.

I hope I will still have enought milk to let her on on TBF till she is 1 year old.

Racia 4 years, 11months 3 weeks and 1 day old

After dropping her bowl of noodles on the floor, BB1 says to me: "My hands were not careful! (She then sticks out her left hand) Ma ma, scold the hand!"

Date: 24 February 2012 (Thursday)

Racia is 4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 5 days old

Its time to celebrate Racia's birthday again! She is 5 this year and the theme chosen (by her) this year is Tangled! Rapunzel.

As Rapunzel is Disney's newest princess, it is extremely difficult to source for Rapunzel themed party stuff in Singapore. As usual, I didn't realised that we are so close to her actual birth date, otherwise, it would have been so much easier to order from the states!

We will be celebrating her birthday in school on the 2nd March 2012 (Friday) at 3pm. She will get a 1kg Princess cake from Bangawan Solo (I will be ordering tonight) and i have also packed 14 goodies bag for her friends in school. (7 boys and 7 girls in total excluding Racia).

Here is a sneak peek at what I have prepared for the goodies bag for her friends.

Racia is 4 years, 11months, 2 weeks 4 days old

I had an interesting conversation with Racia today

Me: Baby, mummy can't buy you things all the time.
Racia: Why?
Me: Because some things are expensive and mummy don't have enough money....
Racia: ok mummy, i will not ask for expensive things, like things that are $13, they are too expensive! Maybe we can buy things that are $1, $2, $3 or $4?
Me: Yes, we can buy cheaper things but we can't buy too many $4 items too because three $4 item will be about $13 too.
Racia: yes, $13 is too expensive! And we cannot buy more toys if not our house will have too many toys!

Its time I start teaching her monetary values of things!

Date: 21 February 2012 (Tuesday)
Subject: 9 Month Baby
Tricia is 9 months old today

Happy 9th months my darling baby Tricia!

Tricia has grown so much over the past months and these are what she can do and is doing at 9 months old

1. She can crawl really well and fast on all fours
2. She can sit on her own unsupported
3. She can move from sitting to crawling and back to sitting position on her own
4. She can pull to stand in her cot and the play yard
5. She has started to cruise (With unsteady legs) in her play area
6. She has started solid and loves her fish porridge, brown rice cereal and organic puffs! Mummy is still trying to get her to eat raw fruits
7. She can pick up her puffs (using her pincer grip) with both her right and left hands
8. She has started on egg yolk (Nai Nai buys her kampong chicken eggs from the Kovan Market)
9. She can take her nap and fall sleep on her own in her play pen cot (no need bao bao)
10. She has started to cut her naps in teh afternoon and now only takes 2 naps instead of 3
11. She can drink really well from a straw cup and consumes lots of water in the day
12. Her hearing and eyesight seems to be good and she can hear and spot us from a distance
13. She giggles and coos and talk her baby talk all the time
14. She started to enjoy playing peek-a-boo
15. She laughs and smiles all the time
16. She gets super excited when she sees her Jie Jie and would babble non stop when Jie Jie is around
17. She loves to play with us and would laugh really loud
18. I suspect her she will neither call mama or papa but would be calling Jie Jie first
19. Her all time favourite hand sign is the "I want Bao Bao" sign with wide open arms

Subject: Tricia is cruising!

At 8 months 4 weeks old, Tricia has started cruising in her cot.

Now i wonder if she will start walking before she turns 1.
