Subject: Tricia's 2nd Birthday Celebration with the Family!
Tricia is 1 year, 11 months, 3 weeks and 6 days old today
We celebrated Tricia's 2nd birthday today!
It was a cozy and very small scale celebration with the immediate family only. We did a birthday lunch at the Kiseki Japanese Buffet Restaurant located at Orchard Central, Level 8.
I chanced upon this place when I was researching for possible lunch venues for the celebration. The review online were mixed but I thought it was an ideal venue due to the location as well as food served. We have family members who were really fond of Japanese food, especially sashimi and this seem like an ideal venue!
We went to BB1's dancing class in the morning and when it ended at 10am, we headed straight over to OC. From OC, we went over to Centrepoint as I wanted to get 2 balloons for Tricia! All birthday girls needs balloons for their birthday celebrations.
BB1 and I chose a Hello Kitty Birthday Foil Balloon and a Minnie foil balloon, both are BB2's current favourite character.
When we reached Kiseki, there was a long queue. I was glad I made a reservations and we were ushered in immediately when they open at 11:30pm. We were given this long row of booth seats very near to the food station. We settled downed and grabbed our first round food.
When everyone was done, we took out the cake for the cute cutting ceremony. Tricia was so delighted by her cake and she kept smiling all the while. She even joined in and sang a bit of the birthday song (in her baby language).
The cake was a 1kg Royal Chocolate Hello Kitty Baby cake from Pola. It was yummy.
We left the place at about 3pm as the birthday girl was getting sleeping.
Tricia would like to thank everyone for her birthday presents!
